Cowboy Wolf Series Trilogy: Gavin, Cody \u0026 Drake By B.J. Wane

Wow, so Awesome!

This was such an amazing series, I just love stories that intertwine with each other that you get to see all the characters before and after their story is told. This trilogy was just that. The characters were wonderfully written and the storyline was so interesting that you wanna keep reading right through all three books to see what happens with the next chapter in their lives. I would love to see what happens to these characters in the future see them growing together and their individual families expanding. Hopefully we will have that experience as well as seeing what happens with the cousins. What a great series! Cowboy Wolf Series Trilogy as you can see contains
1. GAVIN
Gavin was a wolf-shifter. He was also a member and Master at the local BDSM club. When the story opens we see him going in and dreading he had agreed to help one of the newbies who wanted to join. When Aislyn came out of the office he was completely thunderstruck. She was his mate! Unfortunately, he had had it drilled into him from almost the beginning, his secret must remain safe and no humans as mates. That mistake had already been made in the past with disastrous results. But that didn't mean he couldn't scene with her. For six months they were exclusive both at the club and occasional dinners and other outings until his father, the alpha of the pack, needed to retire and it became time for Gavin to take over. Their chemistry is so on point with each other it just jumps off the page. If this book is any indication, this is going to be a GREAT series!

2. CODY
What an emotional journey B. J. Wane took us on with 'Cody'. His and Olivia's story grabbed hold at the very beginning and would not let go. If you read 'Gavin', book one in the 'Cowboy Wolf' series then you know these brothers and their cousins have been raised with the story of past family history and told they could only mate with another wolf shifter. Cody, like his brother Gavin before him, wasn't sent that message by Fate because Olivia, his mate, is human. Olivia on the other hand, met Doug, Cody's partner at the BDSM club. Cody could only take listening to Doug sing Olivia's praises for so long until he agreed to meet them at the club and be introduced. Naturally, Cody was dumbfounded his mate had hooked up with his best friend but Olivia couldn't for the life of her understand why she had an instant attraction and felt an instant chemistry with Cody. There are so many angst and misunderstandings from secrets being kept throughout the story. It's a wonderful read with twists and turns throughout. I can hardly wait for Drake's book.

3. DRAKE
'Submitting to Her Mate' is the third book in BJ Wane's Cowboy Wolf series and it's just as good, if not better than the first two. We get to meet Drake McCullough, retired Marine, with nightmares of being captured and tortured until his wolf took control. And then there's Roz Kingman who has her own sorted past with an ex who is so abusive she had to defend herself and his mother who is intent on putting her in jail even though she was justified in her actions. Then let's throw in the fact that Fate has made these two mates. Of course, there's drama, angst, and danger riddled through the story but there's also the chemistry that goes along with fated mates and an epic sense of humor with their push and pulls towards each other. I loved this one so much.

Each of these can be read as standalone but why would you when you'll miss all the deliciousness of these three ALPHA Wolf Cowboys? Whether you've already read these stories individually or you've been waiting on the boxset, now is your chance to have them all in your B. J. Wane collection of works.
B.J. Wane A FANTASTIC SERIES

What can I say---Ms. BJ Wane surprised me with this Cowboy Shifter series---but in a wonderful way. I loved the angst, the passion, the hardships, and the surrender that takes place. As a fan of this author, I love that she does series, and excited this become a series because of the two brothers of Gavin.

Gavin (Cowboy Wolf Series Book 1)
IT APPEARS YOU’VE MASTERED THAT HORSE AS SUCCESSFULLY AS YOU HAVE ME

Gavin McCullough will reluctantly agree to assist on newbie night at the BDSM private club he attends. The one thing he never expected was for his wolf to become engaged too. But from the moment Gavin sees Aislyn Lankford, he/they are a goner!

“Frissons of prickly heat raced across his skin as his gaze zeroed in on one woman. His wolf stirred with uncomfortable aggression. Gavin quickly tamped down as every one of his senses went on high alert. Just like he had been told growing up, he knew, without a doubt, she was his mate, the one woman who was meant to be his in every way.”

The plot will have Gavin and Aislyn developing a Dom-sub relationship at the club and meeting regularly. She accepts anything and everything he has to offer her as a willing pupil and submissive. But, when after six months, he says goodbye, both of them are shattered. But more of this story and the mystery take place three years later. The one thing Gavin did before their parting was offered her his card with his number and addressâ€"and what a shock when she shows up in the middle of the night.

The story deals with a shifter who has always been raised that he could not mate with a human, and knowing that Aislyn is his mate, he is in turmoil. Thinking Aislyn moved on with another dom after he moved back to the ranch comes as a surprise. Waiting her out to open up to him puts them both in jeopardy. What happens when she learns of his secret? How will he react when he learns of her troubles? Can the past be changed between a wolf and a human? One where there is a chance of a future and HEA?

“You’re mine, little one. You always have been, always will be, no matter what. Say it. Say you accept me, all of me, now and forever.”

“Yes, to Master Gavin, Cowboy Gavin, and even Wolf Gavin.”

Cody (Cowboy Wolf Book 2)
WE SHOULDN’T WASTE TIME ON USELESS REGRETS

After the surprise of Ms. BJ Wane writing a Cowboy shifter book, I looked forward to reading more, and she did not disappoint with the second story of Cody McCullough and Olivia Harris. These two very strong, independent people meet through a mutual friend, Doug, partner, and best friend of Cody’s. Sometimes in life, you find yourself in an unbelievable situation, and that is where Cody will be when he meets Olivia. His wolf wants her, knowing she is his mateâ€"but he must walk away because she is with his friend.

For years, Olivia Harris has been on her own, and even before that, she had to grow up early in life and act like an adult. Losing her mother when she was only seven, her father will never mentally recover from losing his wife, and Olivia misses out on a childhood. Losing her father, she learned early on how to function on her own.

“I’ve been used to fending for myself for a long time.”

As the story moves forward and life changes, Olivia moves and starts a new life. She is plagued with her feelings for Cody, his rejection of her, and her guilt for wanting him, even when she was with Doug. Will a new state and location help her heal? Why won’t Cody leave her mind? Will moving back to Idaho be healing? What will happen to the problems she will leave behind in Seattle?

Cody can’t watch his mate with his best friend, so he retires from his deputy position with the Sheriff’s department and moves back to the ranch. What a shock to get the call that Doug has been in an accidentâ€"and then to see Olivia at the funeral. It will be a shock to see her in town, near the ranchâ€"what is she doing here?

The plot will have Cody and Olivia attracted to one another, but they can’t do anything. Olivia believes he doesn’t like her, and she feels guilty for wanting him. When they connect again, it will be at a funeral and then a long time before they meet up and can talk. The story is full of mystery, suspense, angst, danger, life and death, and two people with secrets that must be careful to protect others.

“It was a good thing she had him now. He would be her sounding board and her shield, her protector, and, if necessary, her avenger. She was no longer alone.”

The story has the good, the bad, the ugly, and deep secrets. With Olivia’s work with an underground agency to rescue and protect women and children from abusers, she has opened herself up to danger. Will protecting an endangered child from a high profile bully bring trouble to her door? In the shifter world, the McCullough family has shared the risks of mating with humans and how it harmed their families with problems. Now, just like Gavin, Cody has fallen in love with a human, one who is in danger, but keeping secrets. How will he be able to tell her about himself and his family safely? What happens when she learns of his secret? How will he react when he learns of her troubles? Can the past be changed between a wolf and a human? One where there is a chance of a future and HEA?

“I’ve never understood why it’s always been different with you, or why I couldn’t forget you, quit craving you. I just know you’re the one.” â€"Olivia

“I love you, too, wolf and all, Master Cody.

The story has scenes inside a BDSM club, including exhibition, voyeurism, spanking, ménage, and explicit sex scenes among consenting adults.

Submitting to Her Mate: Drake (Cowboy Wolf Series Book 3)
I’M ALWAYS UP FOR TRYING NEW THINGS

After the surprise of Ms. BJ Wane writing a Cowboy shifter book, I looked forward to reading more, and she did not disappoint with the third story of Drake McCullough and Roz Kingman. These two characters each have a secret past, one that still haunts them and one that holds them back from moving forward. Both harbor feelings of guilt, anger, and live with the nightmares and fear that the past will come back and destroy any chance of a future.

Roz Kingman will be offered a promising position as a veterinarian working beside Dr. Dennis Winthrop, and he plans for her to take over the practice so he can retire eventually. This means leaving Iowa and her past behind and moving to Idaho. She will be honest with Dennis about her ex-husband, her ex-in-laws, and their threats. But, he will be the only one she shares this information with.

Drake McCullough is a dark, brooding soul with a dark and painful secret. During his military time overseas, being held captive and tortured, he fought for his life and that of his family. But taking the lives of his captors haunts him. Now, he has a new problem; the new lady veterinarian has stirred up his wolf and won’t let him rest. The more he tries to avoid her, the more she seems to be around.

“Out of sight, out of temptation.” --Drake

The plot will have Roz attempting to have a normal life but living in fear that eventually, her ex-in-laws will somehow win and have her committed to prisonâ€"because money and influence talks. She has decided that she will make a bucket list and do her best to cross items off before she no longer has a chance. Once she meets Drake, there is this uncanny chemistry, as if she is drawn to him, even when he is pushing her away.

“Life is way too short not to take advantage of every moment and every opportunity.” --Roz

I will have to admit I laughed out loud so often at the antics and comments from Roz; she is bold, brash, and not afraid to state what she wantsâ€"and that is Drake for as many wild sexual encounters, as she can have. Despite his wolf, Drake is trying to keep her away, but that is a lost cause.

“I’m not your daddy, baby, but your big bad wolf. You pestered me into an affair, and now I’m not letting you change your mind. Deal with it.” --Drake

“I was defining this attraction between us, deciding the only thing that makes sense is the simplest explanationâ€"it’s just animal instinctâ€"and I can work with that.” â€"Roz

The story has the good, the bad, the ugly, and deep secretsâ€"it is those secrets that eventually must be revealed. When Drake discovers someone is intentionally causing issues for Roz, his dominant nature takes control. How far are Roz’s ex-in-laws willing to go to cause her problems? Will Drake decide it’s time to accept that Roz is his mate and protect her no matter the cost?

The story has plenty of angst, mystery, suspense, quirky comments, bold statements, and explicit sex scenes. It won’t take long before Drake and Roz make a huge dent in her bucket list. There is some power exchange, a bit of life and death danger, some abuse, and two people finally accepting that fate has brought them together. Best of all, this story has two people able to help each other heal and move forward. Gavin McCullough, a wolf shifter, meets his mate Aislin at a private BDSM club. She is instantly attracted to him as strongly as he is to her. They are together for six months when he unexpectedly becomes the Alpha of his pack. He has been taught from childhood not to trust humans, and that nothing comes before the pack. When he leaves her behind, Aislin is heartbroken. Two years later, she turns to him for help when she is wrongly accused of embezzlement, and while they do not trust each other initially, they finally open up and get their happily ever after.
Cody is Gavin's easy going middle brother. At the same BDSM club, he meets Olivia and recognizes her as his mate, only she is in a relationship with his best friend. When that friend dies, and Cody goes looking for her, she is gone. Just over a year later, she is in trouble with the law. He is afraid of her reaction to discovering he is a wolf shifter, and she is afraid of him finding out she kidnapped an abused child. When her case is resolved, and Cody opens up, they get their happily ever after.
Drake is the third and most guarded brother. Having fought and been a prisoner of the Taliban, he has PTSD and all the terror that goes along with it. He meets Roz at bar he and his brothers own, and knows she is his mate immediately, but is determined to avoid her. Roz is running from her ex-in-laws, and while she cannot seem to stay away from him, she believes she is on borrowed time and is just looking for a good time. When her life is threatened, Roz will have to trust Drake to take care of her, and Drake will have to trust himself to protect his mate.
Set in beautiful Idaho, all three books have a strong, well crafted storyline. While each can be read as a stand alone, there is an over-arching storyline that is so much better when they are read in order. I am so pleased to find them in one place, and I absolutely recommend the series to anyone looking for a delicious romance series. Kindle Edition This series is so freaking HAWT!! I absolutely LOVE it! Cowboys, Doms, wolf shifters...what more could you ask for? This has become my favorite series written by Miss Wane. Gavin, Cody, and Drake are just so drool worthy. I want to go back and keep re-reading this series. And she wrote an ending that brought all three books to a close together. I loved that so much!

Not her norm but it was still good. I love BJ and I love shifters so I thought why not. It was a good series, but I think the PNR takes away from BJ'S normal great writing. Cowboy Wolf Series Trilogy: Gavin, Cody \u0026 Drake Unexpected
