Lee Child's fifth Jack Reacher novel is set in Texas, with Reacher back on the road in the style of the first two novels, where he comes across a 'damsel in distress' in the form of Carmen Greer, who wants Reacher to kill her abusive husband. It's nice to have a Lee Child The first half of this book is slow and difficult to enjoy, but the second half 4 amps up a little, not as exciting or unpredictable as other reacher books English Usual jack reacher brilliant! Made me have too many late night's as you need to know what happens next.

Jack Reacher's world is populated by attractive women. No, let me clarify that hot women; pure sex; women with soft, translucent skin and ripe and so on. Reacher never meets ugly women. I have read the previous four in order after being recommended the books by a colleague. Number five, 'Echo Burning' I think is the best so far. Don't get me wrong each one of the earlier four is a good escape academic Another fantastic story, told at a steady pace. Jack Reacher doing what he does best.You can picture the scene, the places the people the page is brought to life by good descriptive writing that flows seamlessly from page to page.Ready for the next one academic Good product, very well priced and a good read, over all. academic
